Notes for Richard Harcourt
-Richard Harcourt was born in 1623. He emigrated some time before January 1649. In 1651 he married Elizabeth Potter who was born 16 February 1631 at New Haven, Connecticut, the daughter of Robert Potter and Isabel Anthony. He was one of the signatories to the “Fundamental Agreement of the Inhabitants of the Colony of Warwick”, along with Henry Townsend , Robert Potter and Ezekiel Holliman in 1649. He was Constable of Warwick, Rhode Island in 1648.
 
Their daughter Dorothy Harcourt married John Cock, son of James Cock and Sarah Clark.
