-Simon Stone was born in Great Bromley, Essex 1585 and married Joan Clark of the same town in about 1619. They boarded the ship “Increase” in 1635 and migrated to Watertown, Massachusetts, BNA. They were Puritans. According to tradition he is the one who built the old-fashioned colonial style house that his descendants lived in for 6 generations.
Their daughter Anne Stone married Lewis J. Stone in 1624 at Watertown, Massachusetts. Their son Captain Josiah Lewis Jones married Lydia Treadway on 2 October 1643 in Watertown, Massachusetts.
